大家好! What's up everybody! I hope you've had a fantastic last week! I can't believe that March is already almost over   So here's the update on my side of the world For pday on Monday we had a pretty chill day. I finally got my mail from America which only took a million years to arrive     and I bought a ton of groceries which was nice. Then of course we played some games so that's epic   . That night as we were planning, we called a lady named Jasmine to do an English evaluation and ended up teaching her a bit about the gospel. She said she'd be interested in hearing more so that was new person #1! On Tuesday, we had a lesson with a lady named Vivian first thing in the morning. She was someone that some other sisters passed to us and she's got great potential! We were able to set up another lesson with her so that's new person #2! Nothing else too crazy happened that day. We just had our usual studies and findings. One interesting thing though was the...

大家好! Happy Monday everyone! This week was pretty normal but there were some good things that happened so here's the rundown 😁 On Monday we had kind of a busy pday because Sister Ho and I went on a sort of wild goose chase looking for Sister Santos' bye bye book. So that was fun 😃 On Tuesday we didn't do anything crazy. We just had our studies and some finding which were both pretty normal. We tried to have a lesson with a guy that we found from call finding the other day but he never picked up :/ We did get to have an impromptu lesson with a less active member that we randomly called though so that was pretty good. On Wednesday we tried out a new sort of idea for finding that President had. Basically we went on our normal walk but also tried to pass out ECG cards while we did. We only passed out one unfortunately :') but we got to wave and say hi to a lot of people which was good. Later on, we called a lady that the elders before us used to teach and we briefly got ...

大家好!! Greetings everyone from your favorite resident Hong Kong missionary   This week was pretty normal but we did have a few interesting things happen so I'll let you in on the goings ons. Last Monday was another ordinary pday so nothing too crazy to discuss there. Tuesday was a bit more interesting because we got to go to the mission office! Sister Ho had to look into some school stuff and then we scheduled appointments that day to get our covid booster shots. The place we got them at was right by our apartment so that was pretty sweet. The biggest side effect I got from it was feeling really tired the next day but it was worth it for the extra protection     Other than that it was a normal day of studies and finding   On Wednesday we had some guys come and replace our AC which was pretty cool. Our old one was very ineffective and would make scary popping noises in the middle of the night so I'd say we were due for a new one. The technicians had to harness t...

9 months!

大家好! Hello everybody!! This week marks 9 months of me being a missionary and 6 months since I got out of quarantine! The time has honestly sped by, it's so crazy! I'm so grateful for what a blessing this experience has been so far and I'm so hyped to see what the next 9 months will bring!  Now onto my normally scheduled, weekly update. This week felt like it went by so fast! The days can be slow, since we're mostly inside, but then before I know it, it's already Sunday again! Last Monday for pday we had another very chill day so nothing really to report other than some fun game playing and dumpling eating. Tuesday was pretty chill as well. Sister Ho and I went down by the pier where we saw another GIANT jellyfish so we were pretty excited about that. We did some finding hours as well but didn't really have too much success. We DID get to call and talk to a member we haven't met before though which was pretty cool. He's 16 so he was very chill and we were...
